"Dear Sir,
I must trouble you once more for congratulations. Elizabeth will soon be the wife of Mr Darcy. Console Lady Catherine as well as you can. But, if I were you, I would stand by the nephew. He has more to give.
Yours sincerely, &c" -

SCORE SUNDAY!
Dario Marianelli — Liz on Top of the World
I am newly a single girl again, so forgive me for watching too many Jane Austen adaptations and You’ve Got Mail over and over.
Meanwhile I’m working on a new queue, and Dario is with me. He never fails.

Dario Marianelli - The Living Sculptures of Pemberley
I decided to make this an on-going feature: Score Sunday. I’m sorry, but the soundtrack geek in me can bear it no longer. She-must-be-expressed. So-many-feelings.I want to start with Dario Marianelli because HE IS THE SHIT, with my favorite track from one of his best scores EVER. Okay so that last comment totally undermined my opinion, but I’ll let Dario speak for himself.
Incidentally, this corresponds to my favorite part of the book as well, when Elizabeth starts coming around, that thick-headed lil’ thing.
